Durango Talks Diversity

What: Durango Diversity Dialogue

Where: Durango Rec Center

For the sixth year in a row, the Durango Diversity Dialogue returns to encourage multicultural conversation and growth with the theme of “Conversations on Everyday Life in our Community.”

Various organizations will come together for this daylong event this Saturday, focused on spurring intercultural growth throughout the community.

Open to all participants age 12 and older, the intergenerational workshop will offer a number of diversity exercises designed to raise awareness, understanding and promote intercultural growth followed by reflection time.

Sponsors include the City of Durango’s Community Relations Commission; Embracing Diversity Initiative; Durango High School Prejudice Elimination Action Team; Fort Lewis College’s Common Ground and El Centro de Muchos Colores; and Celebrating Healthy Communities Coalition.
