Celebrating 25 years of Durango ‘Boho chic’What: Animas Trading Co.’s 25th Anniversary Party One of Durango’s longest-standing clothiers is turning 25 this week. To celebrate, Animas Trading Co. – which has been outfitting free-spirited men and women with its affordable Bohemian style since 1990 – is throwing a party.
Each year, Wakeman, who started at the shop in 1993 and bought it in 2007, travels overseas for new inventory for Animas Trading Co. The store features clothing, jewelry and gifts from far-flung locales like Asia and Latin America, including India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Ecuador, Guatemala and Nepal.
