FLC play highlights Durango talent

What:  ‘Sun and Room’
Where: Fort Lewis College GalleryTheatre
When: Nov. 14-16, 7:30 p.m.

One of New York’s brightest literary lights shines on Durango with “Sun and Room,” a production commissioned for the FLC Theatre. Now in its second weekend, the production takes the stage this Thurs. - Sat., 7:30 p.m. at the Fort Lewis College Gallery Theatre.
Written by Danny Mitarotondo and directed by Ginny Davis, the play is an experimental work written for the actors, who were cast before it was even created.

Tagged as “One Night, Three Friends, Too Much Information,” the gritty contemporary dark comedy explores young adult angst and optimism, while offering a fascinating and revealing look at contemporary college life. The production is staged in the gallery and also makes use of the lobby, incorporating both the “room” and the “sun” characters.
