Daddy’s little secret
You may know your daddy, but when it comes to online dating, others may not. In a news release sure to warm hearts everywhere this Father’s Day, the online dating website WhatsYourPrice.com has revealed that one in three men nationwide lie about having kids on their online dating profiles.

The results were based on a national survey of 13,587 WhatsYourPrice.com members. According to the website, when male users logged onto the website, they were asked, “Do you have any kids?” Their answers were then cross-referenced with the information submitted on their dating profile.

For those unfamiliar with WhatsYourPrice.com, it bills itself as the only online dating website where “first dates are bought and sold.” Despite – or perhaps in spite of – the similarities to prostitution, the site has been featured in such news outlets as New York Times, Huffington Post and CNN, and has more than 650,000 members worldwide.

The top 10 cities with the most scoundrels are:
1. Columbus, Ohio – 46 Percent
2. Indianapolis, Ind. – 44 Percent
3. Pittsburgh, Penn. – 43 Percent
4. Kansas City, Mo. – 40 Percent
5. Detroit, Mich. – 40 Percent
6. Little Rock, Ark. – 39 Percent
7. Tulsa, Okla. – 38 Percent
8. Wichita, Kans. – 36 Percent
9. Albuquerque – 35 Percent
10. Memphis, Tenn. – 33 Percent
