Magic, illusion come alive at the Concert Hall
What: Spencers: Theatre of Illusion
Where: Community Concert Hall
When: Thurs., April 26 at 7:30 p.m.

No top hats and rabbits for this 21st century magic show. The Spencers return to Durango with their “Theatre of Illusion” at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Fort Lewis College’s Community Concert Hall.

This high-tech show is more than magic; it’s a theatrical experience with elaborate illusions, special effects, and hints of comedy, drama and high tension.

Husband and wife Kevin and Cindy Spencer have been entertaining audiences for more than two decades, and received such accolades as “Performing Arts Entertainers of the Year” and “International Magicians of the Year.”

Cindy was the first woman recognized by the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Kevin is the co-founder of "Healing of Magic," a program using magic for occupational and physical therapy, and author of "Hocus Focus", a curriculum for special education students.
This duo brings more than magic to their tour, visiting hospitals and leading workshops for therapists. They focus on encouraging patients to be involved with their therapy using magic tricks.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with concessions and beverages. For information, call 247-7657 or visit www.durangoconcerts.com.
