Bottoms Up

Nothing says fall like a tall glass of unfiltered, au naturel apple cider. And if you were lucky enough to drop by the celebratory 4th annual Apple Days Fest last Sunday in Buckley Park, you probably got your fair dose of fiber for the rest of the month. The event, coordinated by Growing Partners, a group of local nonprofits promoting sustainable food programs, featured live music, apple pressing, pie making, cider drinking and just about anything else one might do with this refreshing fruit.
