As one of the oldest and most popular events at Fort Lewis College, Hozhoni Days (meaning Days of Beauty in the Navajo language) is a sight not to be missed. Hundreds of visitors from across North America celebrated the events 47th year with a number of Native American speakers as well as the Miss Hozhoni Pageant and the aptly named Grand Entrance powwow. Friday evenings procession was a feast for the senses, complete with a vibrant array of dancers and drumming circles.
