Durangoans can indulge in bluegrass and beer and help a worthy cause this week. Durango Nature Studies hosts its annual Bluegrass and Beer fund-raiser on Aug. 4. The event kicks off at 5 p.m. at Rotary Park.
 
The music gets under way with Sky High, a band that plays everything from Celtic to covers. Next, Durango Nature Studies’ own Sally Shuffield will be accompanied by Kathy Sutterfield on guitar and clawhammer banjo. Sugar Don’t Stop, a husband wife duo that blends Americana and mountain music, goes on next. And Rusted Prairie will headline the show with traditional bluegrass, folk ballads and originals
