The truth about chemtrails

Dear Editors,

Chemtrails – Will Sands re-opened the mystery in his April 26 editorial: Is there a secret plot to poison Durangoans using unmarked military jets? The question springs from aTelegraphstory dated 2003, in which a certain source linked the sky graffiti above our heads to the intentional spreading of airborne toxins and posed a nutty solution. The solution? Wear a gas mask!  If, as Sands stated, “the chemtrail controversy vanished a few months later,” it is no wonder. As I recall, theTelegraph neatly showed a front page picture of a chemtrail-laced sky framed beneath the nut in his gas mask. Henceforth, in most readers’ equations, chemtrail = nut. The guaranteed result? Instant reader rejection of all things chemtrail. This is psychology 101. It’s called disinformation.

I remember the Colorado sky of the 1950s. Then, a blue sky was BLUE. Under low light, just before sunrise and again after sunset, the blue intensified, becoming even deeper than at mid-day. Our Colorado sky has changed. Its blue is no longer blue. At mid-day, it is a pale imitation of blue; at sunrise and sunset, dishwater white. Our storms are longer in duration, often while accomplishing less, and they tend to blur together. We live under a perpetually agitated sky that is less and less predictable. Gone are the 300 clear days per year that Colorado once boasted.

Today, partial obscurity of the sun behind a gauze-like layer of jet-created overcast is accepted as normal. The words and graphics used in newspaper weather reporting have been changed to reflect this. Open your newspaper and notice that the symbol of clear skies, the sun-against-blue-background glyph, is rarely used, anymore. Replacing it is the sun-over-cloud symbol that depicts the current reality of, not sunless, but also not clear.  Newspeak for such is, “times of clouds and sun,” or “a good deal of sun.”  Forecasts, like the sky

itself, have blurred.

What does it mean? Is there a plot to poison Durangoans? Absolutely not. This is a GLOBAL phenomenon. It is visible over Alaska. Over Canada. Over every NATO member nation. The sky over the Netherlands is as criss-crossed with chemtrails as Durango’s. So what is going on?

Today’s sky is comparable to the Nevada desert of the 1950s. There, from Jan. 27, 1951, through July 11, 1962, top secret experimentation took place in the form of above ground nuclear bomb blasts. These have been thoroughly documented and widely written about. People saw these blasts, were exposed to them and were lied to, told they were safe. In similar fashion, now4

People saw these blasts, were exposed to them and were lied to, told they were safe. In similar fashion, now4 taking place in the sky in full sight of us all, is a nevertheless top-secret program whose true nature we are left to guess about. Lies and secrecy prevailed in the ’50s, and they prevail now. But we do have some clues.

The first clue is that within all matter exists electricity. Heart pacemakers, for example, access the electrical frequency of the human body. Even the sky is electrical – lightning! The second clue is that officialdom never talks about the first clue. To do so would be to reveal the simplicity of weather control. Think about it. Why hasn’t someone accessed the sky’s electricity to regulate it the way we can regulate the heartbeat?

The answer is, someone has. Common radio broadcast antennas have been modified to sky-resonant frequencies. Weather control! And in the same way that U.S. regulatory agencies denied the consequences of above ground nuclear experiments until affected cancer victims exposed them in court, neither are the weather manipulators going to admit their role in the world’s bizarre weather until forced to do so.

How can we, the people, force the admission of something that we don’t ourselves accept as real? We must first accept it. Go to weatherwars.info and Scott Stevens, a professional meteorologist and whistle blower, for his eye-opening sky photos and analysis. Next, understand that, as badly as you may want the truth, there are witnesses and participants wanting to reach you with the truth about classified advanced energy systems. A pool of nearly 500 people has already petitioned congress, begging to be subpoenaed for public hearings. These are not disinformers wearing gas masks. They are impeccably credentialed military and corporate professionals whose testimony will change the world. Decide for yourself. Go to disclosure project.org and click on “Watch the May 9, 2001 National Press Club Conference Video.”  Scroll down to “Watch the Entire Video Here.” And get ready for a ride.

All-American misunderstanding

To the Editors,

Two very well-intended efforts to show patriotic respect toward the American flag by the Southern Ute Indian Tribe and the contractor building the new casino have been unjustly turned into a very sad and negative event. We, as representatives of our citizens and constituents of the Town of Ignacio, would like to cast a positive light on the situation.

Anyone who has attended any type of tribal-sponsored ceremony or veteran funeral acknowledges the events rarely take place without the Honor Guard of Tribal Veterans. The American, state and tribal flags are always presented proudly, professionally and respectfully. This type of honorable presentation by the tribe toward the flags is nothing new, and we are quite accustomed to seeing it in our community. We challenge you to find another area entity, beside military or governmental, displaying as much respect toward the American flag.

Likewise, as we understand it, the contractor has a long history of being very proud of flying the flag at its construction sites. We believe that the two entities will put their efforts together and come up with an amicable way to resolve this issue. We feel this is no more than a misunderstanding of how to best respect the American flag. We urge you not to allow this misunderstanding to overshadow the contributions of the Southern Ute Tribe to our community and region.

– Respectfully submitted,

George T. Whitt, mayor, Town of Ignacio; Emily Meisner, president, Ignacio Chamber of Commerce; Balty Quintana, town manager, Town of Ignacio

Side by side by side

Dear Editors,

I applaud Derreck Plunger’s letter to the diver regarding sharing the road. I support road cyclists, and do acknowledge their existence as they ride side-by-side-by-side-by-side down County Road 203. I haven’t even yelled at any or gotten out the shotgun as they pee on the roadside within eyesight of my 3-year-old playing in the front yard. I will say this though, “Please, share the road.” When a car passes you on a blind curve and has a head on collision with another car, those two cars are coming right by the side-by-side-by-side riders.
