| Weigh in on Missionary Ridge: Forest Service opens comment period |
As it delves into designating off-highway vehicle routes in the area, the San Juan Public Lands Center is currently collecting public input. The agency has proposed setting specific motorized trails and routes in the Lakes Landscape, near Lemon and Vallecito reservoirs, and will accept public feedback through Aug. 17. Members of the public can review the project scoping letter and maps of the motorized road and trail proposal by logging onto: ftp: //ftp2.fs.fed.us/incoming/r2/sanjuan/Travel_Management/Columbine/Lakes/. A comment sheet is also provided for input. For more information or if you have troubling accessing the documents, e-mail sjtravelplan@fs.fed.us. |
