This Week's Sign of the Apocalypse

It’s like a Hitchcock movie, but instead of birds, flies are plaguing the Derby area of New Zealand. Residents of the suburban town were on lockdown, or fled all together, as hundreds of thousands of the winged insects swarmed. However, rather than a punishment sent from on high, the infestation is being blamed on a nearby waste plant.
