This Week's Sign of the Apocalypse
Seems USA Today got a little higher than expected on a map of the country that shares the paper’s name. In a story about pot being smuggled out of Colorado to other Western states, the accompanying infographic put the Colorado square in the Wyoming hole. Although the error was quickly spotted – and skewered on social media – and fixed, we’re not sure what’s worse: that mapmakers don’t know where Colorado is, or that a map to show everyone else where it is (or isn’t) was needed in the first place.
