Pastels, hard-boiled eggs and sugar-coated treats are just around the bend for youngsters awaiting a visit from the Easter Bunny. A neighborhood crew gathered to dye eggs for the festivities just a couple of days away. Aside from being stoked that some of the eggs came from real chickens in the back yard, the kiddos didn’t seem to get too caught up in the details of the day. Probably for the best considering there isn’t a whole lot of consensus around how we traveled from the birth of Jesus Christ to chocolate bunnies and colored eggs.
