The science of sound at the Durango Discovery Museum is just one of many weekly stage demonstrations that provide the opportunity for inquisitive minds to get a little hands-on experience. Here, a small group of kiddos dive into the physical properties of sound by creating noise vibrations with various instruments. With the guidance of lively demonstrators like intern Potassium Kate, there is a full spectrum of knowledge to be explored.
