Just a short trip outside the boundaries of our beloved Durango tide pool, there exists a place known as San Juan County, N.M. There you’ll find a thirsty landscape, dotted with a few towns and criss-crossed by dirt roads that peel off into the wild yonder. Life seems to move at a slower pace in unison with seasonal ebbs and flows of the high desert.
