Bottoms Up

Nothing says “springtime” like a good old-fashioned field trip to the petting zoo. And since we don’t actually have a petting zoo, then why not just throw one up for a few hours? Hosted by FLC’s Westerners Club, the annual Barnyard Days aren’t just for fondling cuddly farm animals. Preschool, kindergarten and first-grade classes were given a hands-on learning experience, with plenty of agriculture-related activities from sheep sheering to earthworm digging. Here’s a look:
