3rd annual Chamber Music Festival draws

to a close

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 910 E. Third Ave., is closing out the Durango Chamber Music Festival, on May 27. Artistic Director Kasia Sokol-Borup has gathered two dozen of the region’s finest musicians, including guest artists from New Mexico and Utah, for the event. The concert begins at 7 p.m.

“The festival fills a hole in the Durango music scene: chamber music performed in an easily accessed, intimate setting, with affordably priced tickets. Not only is St. Mark’s the perfect venue accoustically, but it’s beauty is unsurpassed,” says C. Scott Hagler, executive director of 3rd Ave. Arts.

More information on artists, repertoire and tickets are available at www.DurangoChamberMusic.com or by calling 247-1129.
