Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: Not for the faint of heart. An intense combination of martial art, combat sport and self defense, Jui-Jitsu emphasizes high-intensity ground fighting techniques in order to subdue ones opponent. It teaches that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend against a stronger assailant by utililizing leverage techniques such as chokeholds and joint-locks.
