The first day of school: Ahhh, the memories. New friends, new teachers, and the latest in schoolyard fashion. Some will laugh, some will cry (even the parents), and some will miss the bus, but after the initial shock of another summer vacation slips away, we usually find that the school year ain’t so bad. So, here’s a salute to that fateful Monday morning, where students, parents and esteemed members of the faculty, gather as one to kick off another year of education.
