The Rocky Mountain Grass Poloships took place in Durango on Saturday, with the finals under the lights at Buckley Coliseum in downtown Durango. More than 15 teams of men and women came to duke it out on the grass for the coveted Colorado Cup. In the end, the Fort Collins Steamworks crew took home top honors for the men, defeating the upstart Ska team in the finals 7-6. In the womens division, Durangos Baskin Robbins handily dismantled Lemonhead Hair Salon to clinch the title. Local mallet masters Anne Cheeney and Doom took home MVP honors.
