The Music in the Mountains Festival kicks off its 24th season this Sat., July 10, and performances will be on tap throughout the region through Aug. 1. Gregory Hustis starts his third year as festival artistic director and chamber music director. Maestro Guillermo Figuroa, the former concertmaster of the New York City Ballet and a founder of the renowned Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, marks his third year as conductor of the MITM Festival Orchestra. Featured musicians this year include: Dmitri Berlinsy, violin; Vadim Gluzman, violin; Erin Hannigan, oboe; Natalie MacMaster, fiddle; and Aviram Reichert, piano.
