photos by Stephen Eginoire Hozhoni Days celebrated its 46th birthday this past week at Fort Lewis College. Hozhoni Days, when translated from Navajo, means Days of Beauty, and it ranks as one of the most storied events at the Fort. The two day Powwow brought thousands of dancers, singers and spectators from all corners to the Whalen Gymnasium. Participants ranged from Iowa's Meskawki Nation to Southwest Colorado's Southern Ute Indian Tribe. Here's a look:
