Several other important environmental events are set for this weekend in Durango as part of 350.org’s International Day of Climate Action. • Fri., 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. - Fort Lewis College Environmental Center, Verde PR, Durango Youth Coalition, San Juan Citizens Alliance, and Sustainability Alliance of Southwest Colorado will start work on a collaborative climate-change awareness banner at the Fort Lewis College clock tower. • Fri., 2 - 4 p.m. - the staff of Sens. Michael Bennett and Mark Udall will answer questions about energy and climate policy at a Clean Energy Climate Policy Forum in the Animas Lounge at the college. • Sat., 8 a.m. - noon - the banner-making project will move to Durango Farmers Market, located in the First National Bank Parking Lot.
