The 2nd Annual Tour de Ski Nordic Skate Ski Race is set for Sat., Jan. 24. Racers can compete in marathon (42K), half-marathon (20K) or 12 and 6K races all from a start/finish at the top of Purgatory Mountain at Durango Mountain Resort. The event is a benefit for Trails 2000 and the Durango Nordic Ski Club. This year’s event is equipped with rest stations complete with hot chocolate and cookies from Bread. It will be followed by an awards lunch at the Community Center at DMR.
