The first-ever Four Corners Green Living Expo runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sat., April 18, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sun., April 19, at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. A listing of “Go Green Workshops” follows:

Saturday, April 18

11 a.m. – The Economy Forum, featuring keynote speaker Rob Dietz

11 a.m. – Solar, presented by Solarworks

11 a.m. – “Cooking” demonstration with Turtle Lake Refuge

11 a.m. – The Re-Creation Station, a hands-on educational art exhibit

11:45 a.m. – Strawbale houses, presented by Kelly Matthews

12 p.m. – Electric vehicles, presented by Love Bug Motors

12:30 p.m. – Green Money Management 101, presented by Integrated Financial Planning

1 p.m. – What makes a home green? presented by Kogan Builders, Mike Frisoni- Annadel Building Solutions, Michael Thunder Eco Broker and Aspen Design Studio.

1 p.m. – Green Maintenance for Fuel Engine Cars

1 p.m. – Durango Discovery Kids Workshop, an interactive display of kids’ activities
