Its the time of year for the mercury to soar, and with it, the cfs, bringing helpless faces and 50/50 river-water beers to a frothy section of river near you. This weekend did, and we have the pictures to prove it.

There is so much written in a face. A guide keeps his cool as his passengers go ape upon entering Corner Pocket. Nothing like a good kick in the head to start a chilly swim. Rafters get a literal taste of the Animas on Saturday afternoon. Moments like these brought a good cheer from the spectators along the rivers edge. A group of chilly passengers admire the meaty section of Corner Pocket.
