When the winter begins to ebb and the ice begins to melt, you can bet they'll do what ever it takes to get some riding in. This past weekend local Skaters and BMX'ers worked together to clean up and de-ice the pools and decks at the Schneider Skate Park. Longer days, above average temperatures, and bit of back work made it possible. The park was full of families, seasoned riders and beginners all with one common goal of having fun. Currently, the park is only half open because of the snow and ice.

Arthur Daley takes a break from his de-icing project to watch
another BMXer Looking way too comfortable with only air beneath him, Arthur
Daley makes it look easy. Carl Hampton, 10, makes a pass through the freestyle section of
the park.
