Just like its
leg-powered counterpart, the motorcycle season is
just around the corner and Durango's community of
riders is itching to head out on the open road.
With the hint of spring in the air and strong desires
to hit the pavement, last weekend's Motorcycle Parts
Swap Meet Extravaganza fed the needs of local motorcycle
enthusiasts. A multitude of vendors were on hand
selling new and used parts as well as apparel (new)
to a wide variety of motorcycling aficionados. There
also was a Saturday poker run, with riders getting
together that night at Scoot ’n Blues for
a rowdy celebration of games and awards.
A brand new Harley Davidson V-Rod which will go
to some lucky winner in conjunction with the Rally
in the Rockies sits on display at the swap meet
last weekend.
