The Durango Chamber of Commerce's
annual Christmas
Caroling Procession rocked and rolled its way down
Main
Avenue last Friday night. Carolers of all ages were
greeted
by Santa and Mrs. Claus at Buckley Park to start
the
evening's festivities. Guided by red and green glow
sticks,
parade-goers sang their way through town as they
approached the train depot. The holiday street party
reached a climax as the Christmas tree and the lights
lining
Main Avenue were illuminated. Afterwards, children
lined
up inside the train depot to sit upon Santa's lap
in the hopes
of having their holiday wishes granted.
