The Tour de Fat

The second annual New Belgium Brewing Co.’s Tour de Fat rolled into Durango last Saturday, providing multiple forms of entertainment for bike fans, from a leisurely cruiser parade down Main to a group road ride. The rides culminated in a street party on Main Avenue, which included a Cruiser Carousel, the Telegraph Paper Boy Challenge and daring acts of skill from roving bike performance troupe, Cyclecide. New Belgium beer flowed freely and three bands provided live music. Proceeds from the day’s events went to the San Juan Mountains Association.
