Tri the Rim

The 15th annual Tri the Rim Triathlon took place at the Fort Lewis College campus on Saturday. A total of 103 racers participated in the day’s event, which was sponsored by the FLC Department of Student Housing and Recreational Services. The race began with a 500-yard swim in the school’s natatorium, followed by a 12-mile bike ride around the perimeter of the Hillcrest Golf course. The final leg of the event was a 5-kilometer run that ended with a climb up Eighth avenue.
