Spring fling

While thousands of spring breakers converge on sandy beaches in more tropical climes, a hardy handful will head for the ski slopes and powder snow of the Rocky Mountains. A tradition among high-school and college students, spring break offers an escape from teachers and textbooks and promises a week of parties and general debauchery. With fresh snow and warm weather, Durango Mountain Resort provided the perfect location for the intellectually downtrodden to relax and unwind.
