A special day

Durango Mountain Resort and the Adaptive Sports Association hosted the Colorado
Special Olympics last Saturday. More than 50 athletes from around the region participated in the winter events. Friends, family and volunteers crowded the Columbine area in support of the athletes and were treated to sunny skies, food and the excitement of a little friendly competition.
